My Story
Hi there! I’m Kaila Ryan. In 2021, I started my Pacific Northwest homestead with more hope than I had experience. After losing all my flocks of birds, failing my first and second gardens, and taking a year off to heal, I am rebuilding my farm and myself. This space shares the honest, messy, beautiful realities of what starting from scratch again really looks like.
While most people spend Spring Break resting, life on the farm moves in the opposite direction. Long days, endless projects, screaming muscles, and work that never quite feels finished define the week, but so does a deeper sense of purpose.
