Farming is often imagined as peaceful and picturesque, but in reality it is built on constant problem-solving and repeated failure. After years of losing crops and livestock to predators and environmental pressures, I stopped seeing failure as an endpoint and began treating it as data. This is how I started building systems that could actually sustain a farm.
